Many women come into the fitting room convinced that molded bras are the only option because they create a smooth look under clothing.

The problem? Molded cups have a fixed shape. If your breasts don’t happen to match that shape perfectly, you may end up with gaping, wrinkling, spilling over, or simply feeling unsupported.

Seamed bras (sometimes called cut-and-sewn bras) are made from multiple fabric panels that create shape, lift, and support. For fuller busts, they often provide a much better fit because they adapt to your shape rather than forcing your shape to adapt to the bra.

If you’ve been wearing molded bras for years, don’t dismiss seamed bras just because they look different on the hanger. Many of my clients are surprised by how much more comfortable and supportive they feel.
